Double Question Marks

Thought for the day: Eaters of the Dead is a good book. Better than the movie. But I still like the movie. But not as much as the book.

I am really tired. And I am coaching soccer after school. Basketball was first, now soccer, and finally I'll probably end up coaching football too. Weeeee!

Life is going smoothly. This long weekend was excellent in the fact that it allowed me to relax and get alot of cleaning done around the house. Double-score.

Dwight quit on The Office. He is such a great character I can't wait to see how he comes back. I recieved my huge box of books from my mom's in Michigan. It's been great going through my collection of fantasy paperbacks. I even read one now and then.

Speaking of reading I began reading my manuscript again the other day. I actually enjoyed it. You migh say, "Of course you did, you wrote it." But I say, on the contrary. I must have read the thing 70+ time and fully edited it 4 times. By the end of the writing process I was sick to death of looking at the thing. The words became less story and more formula. It became less exciting and less fun to read. So I put it away for a couple of months, kind of tried to forget about it. Now that I am reading it again I like it. Which is kind of a relief. Even though I know everything that is going to happen and why it is going to happen it's still fun and for that I am glad.

I saw "W's" interview on t.v. the other night. I don't care what you say, you have to give the guy credit for his sense of accountability and his sense of what is right. I have alot of trouble being critical of the president, any president really, because of the incredible stress and burden of the position. Before you go bashing, try running something sometime and then multiply your responsiblity exponentiallly. Then think about being the leader of the free world and of the most powerful nation on the planet.

Scary.

They should have titled the movie after the book. "The 13th Warrior" makes no sense.

I can't believe I missed the Office last week. I was home, even. Crackles!
